Intersection Gets Green Light

PEACHLAND – Traffic control signals will be installed at Highway 97 and Clements Crescent in Peachland. The signals will increase safety for traffic turning onto the highway.

These improvements will include:

  • Installation of traffic signals, advance warning flashers and street lights.
  • Modifications to traffic islands to improve access for wheelchairs.

Why this matters:

  • The shopping plaza at Clements Crescent is popular with residents and tourists. Putting a signal at this intersection will improve safety for those entering and exiting the highway.
