PENTICTON CONTRACTING COMPANY WINS AWARD

PENTICTON – Peter Bros. Construction of Penticton won the Contractor of the Year award from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure for their excellent work on the Highway 24 project, from Horse Lake Road to Mahood Lake Road.

“Peters Bros. worked hard to deliver a high-quality finished product, laying down 32,000 tonnes of asphalt between 70 Mile House and Little Fort,” says Penticton MLA Bill Barisoff. “Throughout this project, the great attitude and quality approach to their work was an example to all in the industry. I commend Peter Bros. and staff for delivering good value to the taxpayer.”

Not only did Peter Bros. Construction deliver the project on time and on budget, they were willing to include additional work at the Ministry of Transportation’s request.  This collaborative approach extended beyond simply delivering project with Peters Bros. being instrumental in helping to manage issues with stakeholders and willing to also deliver some of the Ministry’s annual paving projects.

“Not only is Peter Bros an important employer here in Penticton they are also a good corporate citizen and give back to our community in many ways,” says Barisoff.
